NLN Scholarly Writing Retreat November 7-9, 2025

 This retreat will be virtual and will take place November 7-9. Those of you on the West Coast have only to get up early to take part. The leader for this retreat is Dr. Leslie Nicoll, editor of CIN: Computers in Nursing. As noted online, the retreat is intended for nurses who have completed a research study — perhaps a dissertation — or innovative project but need help selecting a journal, writing for publication, and managing peer review.

The important thing to know is that you will be mentored throughout the entire process, from the day we accept your application through the ins and outs of peer review. Our Scholarly Writing Retreat has helped launch the publishing careers of many nurse scholars since it was established in 2008. The deadline for submitting your application is September 26.
