NLN Leader Earns Recognition for Transformative Leadership
Congratulations to NLN President and CEO Dr. Beverly Malone for being honored with the 2022 M. Louise Fitzpatrick Award for Transformative Leadership by Villanova University! The award is named in memory of M. Louise Fitzpatrick, EdD, RN, FAAN, Connelly Endowed Dean and Professor of Nursing, who led Villanova University’s College of Nursing from 1978 until her death in 2017. During those nearly 40 years, she developed the College into a premier nursing program, recognized repeatedly by the NLN as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education. Read More

Apply Now for 2023 IPEC/COF Award
The Excellence in Interprofessional Education (IPE) Collaboration Award cycle is now open. This award aims to recognize outstanding contributions who have innovatively addressed a public health issue on their campus or community. Interested interprofessional teams, students, and/or partners must apply by February 3, 2023. The overall winner(s) will receive a $2,000 travel stipend and their award plaque at the annual Summer IPEC Member Meeting in Washington, DC, and will present a national IPEC webinar on their project and findings. Learn More

Examining Content & Construct Validity of the NYU Langone Health Nursing Education & Competency Algorithm (NE-CA)
Research Participant Recruitment: The purpose of this study is to validate the NYU Langone Health Nursing Education and Competency Algorithm (NE-CA) tool, including participants who are responsible for guiding education and competency in an acute care setting across the country and internationally. For expert nurses in acute care nursing education with two or more years of experience in guiding education and competency; have access to professional nursing organizations; are responsible for guiding education and competency in an acute care setting nationally and internationally; and are able to read and write English.
