NLN Foundation Announces Annual Scholarship Awards Twenty-two scholarships totaling $90,500 are to be awarded for the coming academic year by theNLN Foundation Scholarship Program. These include 15 winners of the NLN Foundation for Nursing Education faculty scholarships, five undergraduate and advanced nursing students pursuing geriatric nursing, and the winners of two specialized scholarship bequests. Mentoring in Academic Nursing from the Perspectives of Nursing Faculty Mentors Research Participant Recruitment:The purpose of this study is to explore the process of academic mentoring relationships among nurse faculty mentors and to identify factors that impact the effectiveness of mentoring relationships. For current, full-time nurse faculty in the US with five years or more in a faculty position who have served as mentors to novice nurse faculty in academia within the past five years.
