NLN Introduces New Online Series with SIRC Reimagined
In the first major update to its professional development curricula since launching in 2008, the Simulation Innovation Resource Center (SIRC) at the National League for Nursing presents SIRC Reimagined, a series of new online courses, offered on two levels: Foundation and Deeper Dive. Sign Up for the Taking Aim: Responding to Discrimination Webinar
New! This session will help individuals connect cognitively and emotionally with the concepts of mitigating microaggressions and promoting inclusion. The speaker, Dr. Kupiri Ackerman-Barger, will use a humanistic approach to teaching inclusive excellence and anti-racism that allows participants to explore these concepts in a learning environment that fosters self-discovery rather than hopelessness or defensiveness. The Immunization Resources for Undergraduate Nursing (IRUN) project, developed through a cooperative agreement between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases and the Association for Prevention Teaching and Research, provides a wide variety of teaching and learning materials that can be utilized in prelicensure nursing course.
