This session will help individuals connect cognitively and emotionally with the concepts of mitigating microaggressions and promoting inclusion. The speaker, Dr. Kupiri Ackerman-Barger, will use a humanistic approach to teaching inclusive excellence and anti-racism that allows participants to explore these concepts in a learning environment that fosters self-discovery rather than hopelessness or defensiveness.
