NLN Announces Selections for 2022 Leadership Institute The NLN proudly announces the selection, through competitive application, of 39 nurse educators and nurses in practice for the 2022 NLN Leadership Institute. The Institute, under the NLN Center for Transformational Leadership, offers a dual track approach. LEAD is appropriate for nurses in education and practice who have recently been challenged with rapid transition into leadership positions; those already in positions of leadership who want formal leadership training; and still others who identify as emerging leaders or have leadership aspirations. Elaine Tagliareni Named “Living Legend” by American Nurses Association of Massachusetts Ask Elaine Tagliareni about her life decisions and she will tell you the best one she ever made was to become a nurse. Few would argue with that or the outcome, especially the American Nurses Association of Massachusetts, which is honoring her with the 2022 Living Legend Award. She was president of the National League for Nursing, the oldest nursing organization in the United States, representing more than 40,000 faculty from its member schools. The Experience of Prelicensure Nursing Students with a Learning Disability in the Clinical Learning Environment Research Participant Recruitment: This descriptive phenomenological research study will interview prelicensure nursing students with a learning disability and their experiences in the clinical learning environment.
