A Correlational Study Examining the Relationship Between Resilience, Anxiety, and Stress in Nursing Faculty in the U.S. During COVID-19
Research Participant Recruitment: This study seeks to understand the relationship between resilience and any correlations between resilience, stress, and anxiety without manipulating or controlling any of the three variables among nursing faculty employed full-time at colleges and universities. For full-time nursing faculty employed for at least one year in the U.S. Primary investigator is Terri Rocafort, PhD, RN, Associate Professor, Chamberlain University. Learn More

Perceptions of Virtual Simulations and Educational Best Practices: A Mixed Methods Study
Research Participant Recruitment: This parallel, convergent mixed methods study seeks to determine whether simulation educational best practices were present in virtual simulations and identify which are most important to undergraduate nursing faculty. For current undergraduate faculty at a CCNE accredited school of nursing; some experience with virtual simulations. Primary investigator is Sarah Manacek, Central Michigan University. Learn More

Applications Open for Environmental Health Nurse Fellowship
The Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments has launched of a second cohort of the Environmental Health Nurse Fellowship Program from June 1, 2022, to May 31, 2023. Through mentored learning with a senior nurse, fellows are provided support and guidance throughout the program so that nurses with all levels of experience can learn and find value in participation in the program. The second cohort of nurse fellows will join a growing nationwide network of nurse leaders who work in partnership with communities to enhance mitigation of and adaptation to climate change and related environmental health challenges, while ensuring the health benefits of these efforts are realized in the communities. Registration & Call for Abstracts Open for Symposium on the Brand Image of Nursing
The Brand Image of Nursing will host their first Symposium on the Brand Image of Nursing: All Nurses Are Leaders from October 16-18 at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Symposium registration and call for abstracts are now open. Presenters will represent the NLN and leading universities. Nurse leaders from the International Society for the Professional Identity in Nursing will serve on their expert discussion panel and international guests from China and Oman will join remotely to share research in their countries. Learn More
