Get Involved! AzLN Nominations Open until April 3rd

The Arizona League for Nursing is an amazing organization involved in meaningful work around Nursing Education here in Arizona. We are looking for members who are willing to do their part to continue the amazing work of this organization.  Nominations will be open from March 3 to April 3, 2020. Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague for an elected or appointed position. Below is a list of the open positions.

Elected

President-Elect

• The President-Elect shall perform the duties of the President during the President’s absence or inability to act and shall perform such other duties as are incident to the office of the President-Elect or that may be assigned by the Board or these bylaws. The President-Elect shall chair the Strategic Planning Committee.
• A President-Elect shall be elected at the annual meeting in the manner provided in Article VIII of these bylaws, to serve for a term of two years following the close of such meeting and shall then succeed to the Presidency for a term of two years.

Appointed:

Nominations Chair

• Responsible for soliciting nominations for all officers, for the annual election.

Conference Planning Chair

• Responsible for planning AzLN affiliated conferences.

Diversity and Inclusion Chair

• Responsible for supporting diversity and inclusion within the AzLN
