Submit Your 2021 NLN Education Summit Abstract Now
The NLN Education Summit 2021 is scheduled for September 23-25, and the call for abstracts is now online through December 23. Submit an abstract to share your strategies for the future of nursing education. Review the tracks to see how your abstract may fit in the Summit agenda.

As you prepare your abstract for submission, Nursing Education Perspectives will have a themed issue scheduled for Summit 2021 on the nursing education workforce, with another scheduled for Summit 2022 on educating during times of crisis. Sharing your research at the Summit and then in print in Nursing Education Perspectives helps to advance the scholarship of nursing education.

PhD Nursing Science Inventory
Research Participant Recruitment: This study will cover an inventory of dissertation topics and engagement in ongoing nursing research that will be of benefit to the science of nursing education by supporting strategic planning for nursing PhD programs, curriculum revision, and preparing graduates to steward nursing science. All PhD prepared nurses are eligible. Primary investigator is Lisa Roberts of Loma Linda University. Learn More

The dissemination of requests for research volunteers by the NLN is not an endorsement of the research nor of the researcher(s). Dissemination is an NLN member benefit intended to promote nursing education research that has already received approval of an Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Nurses on Boards Coalition Urges You to Take 5 This December
By the end of December, the Nurses on Boards Coalition wants to ensure that nurses have filled and reported at least 10,000 board seats. The COVID-19 pandemic has only underscored the imperative to include the nursing perspective to improve the health of our communities. We know that nurses are driving change every day. By registering your board service, and encouraging others to do so, you are helping to quantify our impact and create momentum for more opportunities for nurses to serve in leadership roles. Find Out How

Last Chance! Apply for a Daisy Foundation Conference Scholarship
Today is the last day! DAISY Honorees, regardless of the year they received the Award, may apply for a scholarship to a conference of their choice in support of their professional development. Scholarships are funded by the generous support of Cherokee Uniforms. Since 2017, more than 1,000 applications have been received resulting in $80,000 in scholarships to 40 different individuals for a wide range of conferences. Each year, 10 DAISY Nurses will be selected, based on applications submitted. Each receive up to a $2,000 scholarship to attend a conference of their choice. Virtual conferences will be included for the 2021 cycle. Apply Now
