The Nursing Faculty Shortage: How Can You be Part of the Solution? No matter who you are, the nursing faculty shortage could eventually affect you, whether you are giving or receiving care. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is not the only professional nursing association or organization concerned about the shortage. The American Nurses Association (ANA) and the National League for Nursing (NLN) also have voiced their apprehensions about the current situation. Apply Now for a Daisy Foundation Conference Scholarship DAISY Honorees, regardless of the year they received the Award, may apply for a scholarship to a conference of their choice in support of their professional development. Scholarships are funded by the generous support of Cherokee Uniforms. Since 2017, more than 1,000 applications have been received resulting in $80,000 in scholarships to 40 different individuals for a wide range of conferences. Each year, 10 DAISY Nurses will be selected, based on applications submitted. Each receive up to a $2,000 scholarship to attend a conference of their choice. Virtual conferences will be included for the 2021 cycle.Apply by Nov. 30
