We are actively hiring a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.

Responsibilities
Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy
Scottsdale, Arizona, Digestive Health Specialists
We are actively hiring a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized perioperative care plans
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to protocols for equipment, infection control, and injury prevention
- Operate and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment and instruments
- Administer medications accurately using the 8 rights of medication administration
- Monitor patients under moderate sedation and anesthesia care
- Maintain aseptic technique and support tissue perfusion and system stability
- Handle specimens per facility policy and ensure proper documentation
- Educate patients and support persons on post-procedure care, pain management, and recovery expectations
- Advocate for patient rights, dignity, and privacy throughout the care continuum
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide accurate and timely hand-off reports and documentation
- Comply with all facility policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in the state of Arizona
- Minimum one year of experience in GI, OR, or medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Current RN license in good standing with the state of Arizona
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 90 days of employment (or current certification)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment (or current certification)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of employment if pediatric care is part of the facility’s scope (or current certification)
- Specialty certification in GI Nursing is preferred
