Job Description

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a registered nurse to work at our outpatient clinics. This individual will be responsible for monitoring pacemaker-dependent patients during MRI scanning, as well as a wide variety of clinical duties including starting IV's, managing contrast reactions, patient check-in, exam review, preparation for the visit, patient education, and assistance with exams and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Analyze and interpret EKG tracings to detect arrhythmias or abnormal cardiac activity.
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm and other vital signs using appropriate cardiac monitoring equipment.
  • Document findings accurately and escalate urgent data per organizational protocols.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and compliance of HIPAA regulations.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Must possess excellent computer skills and EMR experience.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Current BLS
  • Current RN license in the state you are applying for
