Nurses’ voices and experiences caring for those impacted highlight the importance of education for health care professionals. Our ethical imperative is the preparation of the future nursing workforce to identify, assess, and promote actions and policies that mitigate climate change on health, promote a sustainable environment, and advance health equity.
The 2022 NLN Summit will focus on the need for nurses and nurse educators to be responsive and proactive in addressing climate change, health equity, and sustainability in managing global health and wellness for society.
